Eritrea, independent since 1991, is the youngest African country
and is situated on the beautiful shores of the Red Sea.
Religiously and ethnically, Eritrea has a fascinating diversity, with nine officially recognized ethnic groups (or ‘nationalities’): the Tigrinya, Tigre, Afar, Saho, Kunama, Hidareb, Nara, Bilen, and Rashaida.
Early spring 2005 a unique book will be published with photographs and gripping background information from all of these groups.
With great respect and with no intentions of political intrusion, this book reveals the splendour of Eritrea and emphasizes the beauty of her wonderful people.
