Eritrea, independent since 1991, is the youngest African country and is situated on the beautiful shores of the Red Sea.

Religiously and ethnically, Eritrea has a fascinating diversity, with nine officially recognized ethnic groups (or ‘nationalities’): the Tigrinya, Tigre, Afar, Saho, Kunama, Hidareb, Nara, Bilen, and Rashaida.
